🌿 About Sarah

Sarah is a compassionate and experienced counsellor specialising in supporting children and young people. She provides a safe, calm and non-judgemental space where young people can feel heard, understood and respected.

With over 20 years’ experience working with young people across a range of settings, Sarah brings a depth of understanding to her work. Her background includes working alongside CAMHS, delivering creative programmes with Hampshire Cultural Trust, and extensive experience within Pupil Referral Units supporting young people who are not currently attending school.

Sarah’s approach is creative, flexible and tailored to each individual. She understands that not all young people find it easy to express themselves through words alone, so she incorporates a variety of methods including art, creative activities and conversation. This allows young people to explore their thoughts and feelings in ways that feel natural and comfortable for them.

She has experience supporting a wide range of emotional and behavioural needs, including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, transitions, and relationship challenges. Sarah recognises the complex pressures young people face both in and outside of school, and works alongside them to build confidence, resilience and emotional awareness.

At the heart of Sarah’s work is the belief that every young person deserves to feel valued and supported. She works at a pace that suits each individual, helping them to develop coping strategies, deepen their self-understanding and feel more confident navigating their world.

Her aim is to empower young people to find their voice, make sense of their experiences and move forward with greater confidence and wellbeing.

🌱 How Sarah Works

Sarah offers a supportive and confidential space where young people can explore their thoughts and feelings safely. Sessions are guided by the individual, with a focus on building trust, understanding and emotional resilience.

Confidentiality is a key part of the work, with clear safeguarding procedures in place where necessary to ensure safety.
